Increasing consumer demand for organic produce and concerns about environmental safety have driven efforts to find alternatives to conventional fungicides to control this disease. To this end, scientists at Cornell University performed field trials with winter squash to evaluate effectiveness of 10 biorational fungicides including biologicals, botanicals, and minerals. Knowledge gained from this study can inform current CPM management practices and the development of future tools for IPM strategies.

For further reading:

Biorational Fungicides to Manage Cucurbit Powdery Mildew on Winter Squash in New York. 2024
by: Elizabeth J.
