A professor in the MSU\u2019s Department of Horticulture, she is an expert in reproductive development and disease resistance in\u00a0<span class=\"il\">cucurbit<\/span>\u00a0crops such as cucumbers, melons, squash and watermelons. Grumet is the lead investigator on a multi-institutional, nationwide research endeavor called the\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Cucurbit<\/span>\u00a0Coordinated Agricultural Project (CucCAP).
