Currently, there are no resistant melon cultivars. Work by CucCAP researchers from Clemson University and USDA-Charleston identified two major and seven minor QTL using a cross between the resistant melon breeding line MR-1 and susceptible cultivar Ananas Yoqne&#8217;am.
