He led the melon team for the CucCAP grant between 2015 and 2021 and will continue to work on the CucCAP project.<\/p>\n<h3>Bill Wintermantel<\/h3>\n<p>Dr. Wintermantel is a Research Plant Pathologist at the USDA-ARS Crop Improvement and Protection Research laboratory in Salinas, California.
