SUMMARY:Pickle Packers International meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Pickling Cucumber Improvement Committee (PCIC) meeting will be held in conjunction with the 2024 Pickle Packers international Annual Meeting & Product Showcase on Wednesday October 30 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. This notice is a call for Presentation Titles for the 2024 PCIC meeting. Presentations will be short (15 minutes)\, allowing time for questions. Please submit your presentation title by July 19\, 2024\, to: Mary Hausbeck\, PCIC Chair\, MSU\, (hausbec1@msu.edu)\, with copy to John Cox at  PPI\, (jcox@ilovepickles.org).\nPlease share this with your fellow colleagues conducting pickled vegetable research. Based on your submissions\, we will develop a preliminary program outline by August 1 to include with all PPI Annual Meeting promotion. Those presenting will be asked to submit a one-page abstract by October 1. Information regarding the PPI Annual Meeting & Product Showcase\, including the registration form\, hotel\, and other important meeting information will be available mid-August. There is no charge for university researchers to attend the PCIC session. However\, if you are attending any parts of the PPI Annual Meeting &  Product Showcase\, a discounted researcher registration fee has been established\, designed to offset the costs of food and beverage.
